Attendees: ber, ike, mo* We talked iChat, d&d and Mailglance (which lacks SSL support atm). That brought us to trusted mail transport and comparision of cyrus and uw-imap packages. Something was mentioned about subethaedit - possibly that it was good, possibly it was the collaboration thing that was good about it. We were all pretty much impressed with the performance of the iChat AV. Given it was such a small group it worked out well. Mo was inspired to apologize to Arthur C. Clarke and note "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a rigged demo." We talked about reverse DNS and presumably a bunch of other stuff as the meeting went for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We only wrapped in order to head upstairs and enjoy another great lesmuug holiday meal. iChat didn't help mo much there. *iChat *at Hollandsche Rading |
