Attendees: george, bub, hildo, aki, ike, ber

Chatted about ghh, statspamming, ipsec/vpn, and lockss.

Member #000064 donated a snow base station to the cause and flashed a shuffle. Then we went off to Postgres in Apple Remote Decktop 2, MySQL vs Postgres - with respect to long running transactions in concurrent databases.

Touched upon rounding rules for floating point arithmetic. Pizza arrived and it was surprisingly good for Ray's.

We tried to guess what exactly Tiger Mobile accounts were - how they were implemented, which somehow brought us to AOL/Mail.app.

There was some give and take about the pros and cons of prebinding. We talked about how the latch on the basement door operated and how pressing against the door with your shoulder facilitated ease of use. Then there were donuts.

"There are a lot of things that just make sense, but never get implemented." - Member #000064

Talked about Kerberos, IT organizations code/document management systems and anarchy of development with someone postulating the worse the app the faster you learn how to fix it [or dump it.]

Wrapped up with Xen/VM/etc.
