Attendees: bob, george, ike, aki, berton, jmiz, ber, josef, hildo, bub

Talked about the value of purchasing an ADC seed membership. Tossed around Windows/Linux authentication and concluded "no". Ike managed to get the 90 lb magnets apart. So apparently it wasn't impossible, just nearly so, as the manufacturer had stated.

We chatted about Tiger upgrade plans, who, when, how. And OSXplanet? Then RPI's laptop requirements and george brought donuts, possibly from midtown. Possibly from someone on the street.

When I went to take pictures I realized my camera batteries were dead so we drew pictures. We talked about airport security with respect to penguins and lighters, suicide bombers from NJ and then someone asked a surprisingly difficult question - What is Terminal? We tried to answer and, speaking for myself, didn't do as well as one would hope.

Joe wanted to know why the cursor disappeared in said terminal when you typed since he likes to use it as a location indicator on systems where it doesn't vanish. So we turned to a discussion of Times Square's HoJos. That brought us around to open wireless access points and back to homeland security.

The magnets ike had put asunder were joined together again. And once again ike was able to part them - but an instant later, still in his hand they reunited with a mighty force, shattered into pieces and drew some blood for good measure. Even so, lesmuug's safety record over the past 6 months is better than satisfactory.

Bub asked about the T-Mobile/.Mac promotion and that finally got us around to the button stores conversation which moved to NYCBUG, fink, alternate filesystems and naturally, accountants and inc-it-now.

That pretty much got everyone excited and we went off into four or five separate conversations, then came back to a group discussion of finance and then I stopped taking notes.
