    A company I work with has an opening for someone with OS X and/or
LAMP (or MAMP)  experience to come on board immediately. The position
may be temporary or permanent. PHP5 preferred but PHP4 is fine if you
have MySQL/Postgres experience. Major points if you've compiled PG
into PHP on Leopard.  : D

    After the project is completed you may be retained in full time
capacity as IT ADMINISTRATOR.

That position has the following responsibilities:

• Plan, design, install, maintain , upgrade, and monitor network
infrastructure
• Install, maintain and upgrade servers with an eye to scale,
performance and cost
• Interact with vendors; procurement of equipment
• Design and implement backup strategies as part of disaster recovery plan
• Maintain applications and database on MNN servers (Mac OS X Server,
Debian Linux)
• Maintain inventory database of IT equipment
• Perform software license audits
• Perform security audits on servers, desktops and network equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• Managing of desktop technician support
• Develop and deploy computer images (imaging) to lab work stations
• Develop a system for maintaining parity between computers and lab work
stations (e.g. Radmind, ARD, Puppet, DeepFreeze)
• Create documentation for the IT solutions that are developed and deployed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server (10.4, 10.5) is required.
• Knowledge of Postfix, Squirrelmail, and SpamAssassin is useful but not
necessary.
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and video editing/broadcast technologies is
useful but not necessary
• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years experience in IT field as an administrator
• Analytical thinker
• Good communication skills
